Self-developed Repair System and Material & Inventory Management System

Insurcare has API development capabilities that can integrate our SaaS-based repair system with manufacturers’ repair systems (such as Apple’s GSX), which can effectively monitor compliance risks and improve operational efficiency.

Insurcare’s Material & Inventory Management System (M1), with serial number management function, can effectively manage inventory compliance. Furthermore, we have realized the data exchange between “the repair system” and “the material & inventory management system”, which greatly improves the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management.

 

Electronics Refurbishment Industry Terms and Definitions

• Intellectual property: is “the collective term for the rights that are legally created based on creations and industrial and commercial marks”. The three most important intellectual property rights are copyright, patent rights and trademark rights, of which patent rights and trademark rights are also collectively referred to as industrial property rights.

• Official replacement: generally refers to when the genuine electronic product has quality or technical problems during the warranty period, under certain conditions, consumers can choose to replace the product, and the trademark owner provides a replacement electronic product to replace the quality problem. Electronic products, which do not come in new retail packaging and do not include any accessories. Official replacements should not be remanufactured or refurbished products.

• Genuine products/parts: usually refers to the electronic products produced or commissioned by the trademark owner. These electronic products can be brand new electronic products that have not been used, or electronic products that have been used by consumers or others. Among them, electronic products that have received the warranty provided or authorized by the trademark owner, including the replacement of the parts provided by the owner or authorized in the warranty service, can also be called genuine products.

• Genuine pre-owned products: usually refers to genuine electronic products that enter the circulation field after use. There may be problems such as natural wear, artificial wear or machine aging during use, but they have not been repaired or modified with parts that do not originate from the right holder.

• Original products/parts: usually refers to electronic products produced or commissioned by the trademark owner, without disassembly or replacement parts, including new or used electronic products.

• Refurbishment: refers to a series of processing to improve or restore the performance and state of second-hand electronic products by carrying out special processing such as polishing, repairing, replacing parts, etc. for genuine electronic products that have suffered certain losses in performance and state after use by consumers. process.

• Refurbished products: usually refers to electronic products that have been refurbished through dismantling, cleaning, repairing, replacing parts and other processes, and generally refers to refurbished products from all channels, which have the largest extension, but the refurbished products referred to in this guideline refer to non-official refurbished products other than refurbished electronics.

• Officially refurbished products: usually refer to the recycling of second-hand electronic products by the trademark owner, and refurbishment of second-hand electronic products by repairing or replacing parts from the right owner, and passing quality inspections to obtain products that meet the official requirements. Standard refurbished electronics. Such products can be sold through official channels of the trademark owner or through legal channels authorized by the trademark owner.
